As a competent moderator, we actively support innovation processes in research & development and mediate among public institutions, industrial enterprises, research establishments, and associations. The lead resulting from the research performance of our partners plays a decisive role in today’s global competition. PTKA makes use of the excellent infrastructure of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the vicinity to research.
Our Tasks
We manage research on the national and international level and conceive national and international programs and projects for public research funding.
Our scope of activities comprises:
- Determination of the research need together with representatives of industry and science
- Initiation, conception, and design of R&D projects
- Scientific and organizational consulting of applicants and beneficiaries
- Assistance in project execution in terms of contents and administration
- Commercial and administrative execution of R&D projects
- Dissemination of research results, with particular emphasis lying on smaller and medium-sized enterprises (SME)
- Observation of technology trends
- Supply of expertise by networks with research institutions, expert bodies, and experts
- Expert opinions and bundling of competences, if necessary
- Support in the launching, design, and execution of international cooperative ventures to promote European and international research
- Consulting and support of German partners by the national contact offices for successful participation in the EU Research Framework Programmes; preparation and support of EUREKA-FACTORY projects
- Management of European R&D projects
